PADI Rescue Diver
ADVANCED • 2 DAYS
Often described as the most challenging and rewarding course. It expands your awareness and teaches you to manage and prevent problems for yourself and other divers building the calm and control to handle real-world scenarios. (Rescue Diver Should have EFR first)
Requirements
- Prerequisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Fitness: Medically fit for diving
What you’ll learn (over 2 days)
- Self-rescue techniques
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency response and rescue planning
- Surfacing unresponsive divers and in-water rescue breathing
- Search patterns and missing-diver procedures
